Laixi Gu is a versatile marketing specialist and filmmaker with expertise in video production, cinematography, and content creation. Currently working as a Marketing Specialist at Nurlinks Capital company in Irvine, he focuses on developing engaging visual content to enhance brand presence and market properties effectively. His role involves creating compelling promotional materials, overseeing video production, and ensuring strategic messaging aligns with business goals.

With a strong background in film and media production, Laixi is proficient in operating professional cameras such as Sony, Panasonic, Red, Black Magic, and Canon SLR. He also excels in video editing and special effects using industry-standard software, including DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro X, Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop.

His experience extends to commercial and independent filmmaking, having contributed as a background actor in major TV productions like For All Mankind, Grey’s Anatomy, and 911 Lone Star. He has worked in various key production roles, including Director of Photography for My Favorite Rebound, a student film premiered at the 25th Newport Beach Film Festival, and as a Camera Operator and Assistant Camera for Dominion InnerTainment and Throne Productions.

Previously, he owned and managed Guangzhou Chima Culture Communication Co., Ltd., transforming it from a wedding video company into a full-fledged film and television post-production studio, producing 16 feature-length films. His commercial work includes directing an advertisement for Giordano International Limited, which contributed to record-breaking sales for the company.

Laixi holds a Certificate of Achievement in Film and TV Production from Orange Coast College and a Bachelor of Arts in Art Design from Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts.
